The rise of cryptocurrency in recent times has given special prominence tthe technology it uses: Blockchain. The Bitcoin cryptocurrency was the first tuse Blockchain. This technology allows for reliable time stamping and linking ta previous block and has become popular because it is especially suitable for storing time-ordered data incrementally, without the possibility of making modifying them. This approach has different features, such as data storage (achieved through the replication of blockchain information), data transmission (achieved through peer networks) and data confirmation (achieved through consensus algorithms between participating nodes).
The students whcomplete this master's degree will have many employment opportunities as the Blockchain concept and the associated technological paradigm continue tdevelop and professionals with this profile are in high demand. Students will learn about the technologies and computer models used in the framework of Smart Contracts, cryptocurrency, block chains, etc.
